Hello, I'm Anna of Anna Marie Graphic Design LLC. I am an independent graphic designer who helps businesses create effective visual communications for their audience.
After over 10 years as a self-taught graphic designer, I returned to school to further my education and refine my design skills in 2019. I graduated with a Digital Design Associate of Applied Science degree from Spartanburg Community College in May 2021. I was honored to be chosen as the "Outstanding Digital Design Student of the Year" for 2021. I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and Media Arts online with Southern New Hampshire University.
In addition to freelance design, I'm currently employed at a community college as a part-time computer graphics lab assistant. In my position I assist the instructors by helping students that have questions about the Adobe programs and Mac computers during labs and exercises. I also work part-time remotely for an online K-12 school program, checking design and media components within the lessons.
My background prior to becoming an independent graphic designer includes working as a marketing assistant as well as working extensively in customer service based industries including retail, restaurant, and banking.
When not creating, I can be found spending time with my husband and two sons, often playing board games, swimming, or watching movies. I also enjoy reading, photography, and traveling.
